What are some snacks that you like to snack on?
Any lunch ideas? This is the meal I struggle with the most, I'm in college full time and working full time. Convenience is key for me.

Crohns since I was 11, I am now 19 on Entyvio and 6mp

I'm speaking as a mom here but one of my kids has Crohn's. One thing I made up for my teen/young adults who were busy was pasta salad. You can make a huge batch on the weekend for several lunches. Bake some Italian sausages or chicken breast in the oven. At the same time boil up some rotini or whatever. Throw in some cut broccoli for the last few minutes of the pasta boiling. Grate some cheese. Mix it in a big bowl with olive oil or salad dressing. Add some extra veggies you like. Cube or slice the meat. One bowl meal!

In general, if you cook up several chicken breast and refrigerate them you can add protein to green salad or mac and cheese for lunch during the week.

Thank you so much! I love pasta salad so that's a great idea

Banana bread is an inexpensive thing to make on the weekend. Bananas and applesauce have good stool thickening qualities. Slice and freeze extras for snacks.

Oh, you're welcome. I'd ruffle your hair in real life and tell you I'm proud of you! Yes, total stranger here but you are going to school AND working and dealing with Crohn's. Watch your sleep and stress. Stay well!

I just discovered crystallized ginger for a snack tonight and it is supposed to be good for your stomach. It is like little pieces of candy. It tastes a little spicy but it is good.
