Hi all!!

I wanted to get the word out... I'm running a half-marathon
on July 18th, 2010 in support of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of
America (CCFA). I'm looking for donations to support this great organization
where 80 percent of the money given goes straight to the research for
curing these 2 awful diseases....
Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis effect more than 1.4 million
people in the US. Crohn's disease most often sets in during a persons
early to midteens and is a struggle for the rest of that kids life. If
you'd like to read about Logan, our honoree (and Crohn's fighter) you
can follow the link here to our team website
http://www.ccteamchallenge.org/Teams/Northeast_Ohio_Chapter/Honorees.htm

To support my run against Crohn's and colitis please visit my web page!
Any donation or any amount will be so appreciated! Right now the giving
has just started.... so why not be the first one to make a difference!

***CCFA is a Better Business Bureau accredited charity and your donation is 100% tax deductible.

Wow, great job! I wish I had the capability to do something like that. I wish you the best in luck - hopefully you raise lots of money. and behalf of everyone suffering with IBD, a great big THANK YOU for your help!
You'll have to keep us up to date on how the fundraising is going, and how you do when the day comes!

Good health and best of luck.

Best of luck in the fundraising. The Team Challenge marathons are great fun. I did the run in Las Vegas in December.

Good luck with that. You should make a post introducing yourself and the person (Logan) I assume you are running for here. Also. it might be worth directing them to the site for them to join the community as we are a wealth of knowledge. My mom did the Las Vegas marathon back in December for CCFA and had a blast training with the team.

For those skeptics, the links look legit based on what my mom's links looked like (active.com is the site collecting donations). You can also donate directly to the CCFA if you are uncomfortable with the link, but it is a good cause and I feel fairly secure saying you can trust that link. Anyone else with experience with these marathons seen the same site to validate what I said?

Just realized this is in Napa, Ca. Do you live in the area so you chose this one or are you traveling there? I live in San Francisco and love wine country, it will be a beautiful run for you guys! If you do live near San Francisco and Logan ever wants to talk to about going through college with the disease let me know and I would gladly sit down with him. If not, good luck with the run and enjoy some beautiful scenery (and some wine tasting if you have time after).
