here is something fun and simple im going to try for both my crohns and arthritis...

Last time I saw my GP, she talked to me about this tincture and she gave me the recipe. I think its a Tibetan traditional remedy. Unusual for a medical doctor, but this is my true story! Her brother is a family doctor too and he found this remedy and tried it for himself for joint issues. It helped him greatly. After his success, he suggested it to 2 of his patients, one fibromyalgia and another suffering from rhuematoid arthritis. Both these women came back emotionally in tears because the ''remedy'' helped them tremendously. Since my GP knows I have joint issues and that I try anything possible in the reign of natural remedies, she suggested it to me... I like my GP a lot, she's cool and very open minded.

Here is a youtube video showing how to prepare the tincture. and you can find other video or website on this subject.

The daily dose from my doctor is different than what is said in the video. As opposed to 1 spoon a day, my doctor said 1 drop on empty stomach in the morning and increase by adding 1 other drop every day until a full amount of 20 drops at day 20th. after decrease by 1 drop each day and maintain at 2 drops everyday.

I have already prepared the tincture (smaller portion) and waiting for it to be ready in 3 weeks (different than the 2 weeks mentionned inthe video).

I hope this helps you!

What does it taste like? I'm imaging either really good or really bad... :shifty:

Garlic is anti inflammatory but could be hard on the stomach. Vodka seems painful to the stomach. Hope it helps!

sounds liek a decent testimony, but im not sure this woudl be any better then boiling it water or eating the whole garlic. alchohol supposedly affects intestinal permeability and zinc status, but is also antibacterial. i woudn't use alcohol long term considering this.

there may be something about the fermentation or maceration with alcohol which maybe enhances something about the garlic? I have no clue. seems like an ancient way to doing things. I already eat a lot of garlic and onion family of vegetables without noticeable impact. The maintenance dose for this tincture is 2 drops a day, which is a ridiculous small amount. I am not really worried about negative side effect. The tincture will be ready in 3 weeks so I havent tried it yet. I'll let you know of the taste!
I coincidentally met this old woman today who told me how her father used to macerate special plants in alcohol and drink a shot every day. he really had bad big hand joints since being a hard labor worker. Once he started his plant tincture, he said pain vanished. She regrets she didnt take notes back then when he was alive! Oh well! I am yet to find my miracle remedy!!!

It sounds like it is basically a homeopathic remedy. The alcohol is there because it is quickly absorbed, readily available, and is a preservative.

You do not even have to swallow it. It will absorb in your mouth.

Let us know if it helps or not.

Good luck.

Dan
