Hi All, this looks like an info clearinghouse site. I'm glad I found it. I do not have an official diagnosis. What I do know is everything I eat and drink is bad for my stomach. Truth is, I may have ruined it from alcohol, but I do not drink now and it's been much better, but every other day or so is a struggle. Thanks all, and look forward to reading about others and what have found that helps.

Hi, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear that you're having a rough time. :(

Are you seeing a GI? Have they suggested IBD as a possibility? Have you had any tests done?

Hey there sassy and welcome :)

Would you like to share what your specific symptoms are and what tests have been conducted thus far?

All my best to you!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I was also wondering what symptoms you are getting and whether any tests have been carried out?

Hey Guys and Thanks ! :)
Well for a long time I was very very acidy, belchy and even vomiting quite a bit. That to me seemed ' upper' GI. Now it seems to be more ' lower' GI. I have not had tests done as I don't car for Drs at all. Now the symptoms are mostly lower gas , bloat, pain and fairly regular constipation. If I drink a fiber drink, it relieves it but I don't want to be tied to fiber drinks for life. Or is it ok to take them forever?

I'd suggest that you go to a doctor. :( They can tell you a lot more than we can about what might be going on and how to deal with it.

I can not stress enough the importance you see a Dr. particularly a good GI specialist. If you have IBD mismanagement of the condition can be extremely harmful and cause you a lot of complications that could of been avoided with proper care. Also your symptoms may be caused by another illness all together.

I understand your reluctance to see a doctor, but they're the best people to help you now. I wish you all the best getting a diagnosis.
