Getting hard to pee??

I added this at the bottom of my other thread, but I figured this deserved to be posted by itself.

Last night and today it has been hard to pee, Like i have to sit there and wait like there is no pressure behind it, and sort of flex my muscle and try and build it up and catch it at the right moment so I can push with some pressure... It doesn't hurt at all, it just feels tight, or again, like there is limited pressure and it takes a while from it to come, even though I feel like I need to pee.

I remember being asked by my doctors when I was first in the hospital if I was having trouble peeing... I cant remember if this is a symptom, or a side effect from my meds, or a reg flag for something.

Any advice about this? Anyone know what it means?

Man you're really going through it. I know a number of meds have that as a side effect. Couldn't tell you if any of the meds you're on have that as a side effect. Is your pharmacy open? You could try them.

if its a side effect im not too worried, I will talk to my GI about it tomorrow when I see him. I am just more concerned if this is another reason to add to if I should be going back in the hospital or not.

I know if it goes on very long it can back up and cause kidney problems. Has it been 6, 8, 24 hours?

Since last night, about 24 hours. I mean, I have been able to go. Just more difficult than normal. Seems to be easing up a bit though. ill have to judge how it is by tomorrow.

I hear you. The only time I've had the issue is with some meds. It never lasts long for me. 1-2 hours.

For what it's worth. If you are questioning if you should go to the ER you probably should.
