getting my ducks in a row....

I'm going back to the Dr... Wednesday he told me he is thinking ibs.. but wanted to see pillcam. Got pretty sick a few days ago.. feeling better now. He gave me meds that are for ibs.. and I got worse.. I've read about both ibs,crohns... And I think he is being to dismissive I've had scans that show inflammation.. I had a partial obstruction and inflammation in my stomach.. its the end of the year and we have met our det.. for insurance but our new insurance we have to pay out the first 3 grand before it will pay a dime.. so time is of the essance... Any advice on getting him to really modem to me..

Unfortunately, it seems many doctors are hesitant to make a diagnosis. I even had one and got it taken away! So, if you think your GI is being dismissive & dragging his feet with your case, move on! Get a new GI who is going to take your seriously. Your health is not something to play around with.

Hi there, I agree with Jill about a new GI. I don't understand the mind set of not giving a diagnosis despite scans and tests that point to one.
