Getting sick with crohns and Remicade

i am currently in the middle of a cold or something similar to a cold and I am having a flare up at about a 7 on a 1-10 scale. Could this be related to the cold or is it more likely something else. I tend to have diarrhoea towards the end of my Remicade cycle about a week before my next infusion (my next one is on Halloween). So I guess what I'm asking is does anyone else flare up when they have another illness?

Well given that you are at the end of the infusion cycle and that increases your symptoms and crohns is an autoimmune disease so a cold will just make your immune system act up even more, it's not unreasonable to think it can complicate a flare.

Yes, having a bug often makes my Crohn's flare up a bit. Usually it calms down as the bug clears up.
