I have just got back from my hospital checkup. My consultant says I'm doing great. He said I probably have a small hiatus hernia causing my reflux problems, but if I'm managing it with Gaviscon then he won't risk upsetting my system with stronger meds. If the Gaviscon stops working for me, he would do an endoscopy to have a look what's going off in there, in case it's something other than a hernia. But he's satisfied that the Crohn's is under control (normal CRP!) and will see me in 6 months, instead of 3.
And on a different note, I booked my summer holiday today. My family are all going to the Isle of Wight for a week, so me and my boyfriend (and the dog) have booked our own caravan and we're going to tag along. Now I have a few months to train the dog (and boyfriend) to behave himself while we're there.
