Hot water with lemon Benefits

Warm lemon water serves as the perfect good morning drink, as it aids the digestive system and makes the process of eliminating the waste products from the body easier. It prevents the problem of constipation and diarrhea from taking place, by ensuring smooth bowel functions.

I was warned off citrus fruits by a dietician as it's very likely to irritate both stomach and guts.
 
It was a naturopath that told me to do it! There are many spas around the world that swear by it!

If your stomach is sensitive to citrus, then avoid it...but we''re only talking about a squeeze.
 
A cold drink will tear me apart inside, but so far I found a cup of hot cocoa in the morning soothes my stomach.
 
Lemons are awesome but be sure to brush your teeth after having them, if I remember correctly they're number one on the list for dcaying your teeth, then molasses, then refined sugar.

Another tip is hot water with a tsp of honey.

I also read somewhere that lemons do not hurt as much as citrus fruits like oranges, grapefruit etc....
 
I think I'm going to try it too. My FIL's new girlfriend does this every single morning - first thing. She takes really good care of her body as well. We tease him because he is 65, and this woman looks like she is in her 40's - which I know she isn't :) Maybe it's the hot water with lemon in the mornings.... ;)
