Hair Loss!

I'm on 6MP and my hair is falling out to the point that it is noticeable. My GI is wanting me to switch to Methotrexate to control the hair loss. As I was scrolling through the symptoms, I noticed that Methotrexate has hair loss as well. What is the difference between 6MP and Methotrexate and has anyone switched from one to the other and noticed a difference?

I've noticed that I pick up on every single side-effect from every medicine.

I am a woman as well and have to start Imuran or Methotrexate in the next couple of weeks. I am scared about the hair loss. Did you have any luck with any meds that didn't cause this?
