Handicap Pass

Has anyone in the US gotten a handicap pass for Crohn's/UC? How did you go about asking your doctor for it? Do we qualify?

Hey there! I am from the US and have a handicap pass for Crohn's. My gastro was the one that helped me go through the DMV to get it. I explained how sometimes I need to run into an establishment to use the restroom, and the handicap pass helps get closer to the door. I also use it when parking around the college campus I attend. Since parking is limited the handicap pass reduces the stress and anxiety of being late; which can trigger some of my symptoms. Just be honest with your physician, I am sure they would be glad to help. Have a good one!

I got a prescription for one from my Dr.

It sure is useful when you have to get to the bathroom fast!
