Hey guys,

So, I've been on my Remicade a few months now, think my last infusion was my 6th. Well about 3 months ago I had a headache that lasted about 5 days and thought oh well maybe it's a caffeine headache as my mom suggested. About a month later I got another headache (was probably about 2 weeks after an infusion)this time the headache seriously lasted 3 weeks. Every single day I got a headache and it lasted a full 3 weeks! However, I did not go into clinic because I know Remicade does cause headaches.

Well, now I'm going on 2 days of having a headache... Should Remicade cause it this severe, or is it time to go into clinic? I just don't have a lot of money.

Has anyone else had this issue while being on Remicade? Any other ideas? I am on no other medication currently, by the way.

thats so weird! ever since i started remicade ive had headaches too but no one has ever said they believe its from remicade and i started in april. they think they are from narcotic withdrawl but ive always thought they were from the remicade and they last long like yours do.

Hmm, well then I guess I'll just have to look more into it and let you know! I'll bring it up to my doctor again and see if there are any ways to relieving it. Don't know about you, but no OTC drugs have helped.

Kate - I've been experiencing headaches more often - not too bad, but noticeable.....well - a week ago Sunday I had the mother of all headaches...went for a head MRI and found cysts/polyps in BOTH sinuses!.....Waiting on a call back from my doctors office to see if he wants me to go to an ENT.....

Here are some other sypmtoms that since the sinus issue was discovered, make a LOT of sense!

Headaches
weird feeling around the eye/sinus area - pressure mostly
not sleeping well
SNORING!
Feeling tired even with '8' hours of sleep

Good luck!

Yeah no otc has helped me either. Even pain meds won't touch the pain. Hope we figure this out soon!

pasobuff- Oh my god... um I definitely think that is a good thing to look into. I've had had some sinus issues for a long while now with no help from allergy meds. That's gotta be it.

What are they doing to fix it?! Won't need surgery, will I?

Kate - I saw my ENT yesterday, who said my issue may have to do with old sinus infections - and told me that surgery could actually cause more problems. I did find out too I have a deviated septum, never knew that!.....

Got some antibiotics to take (Augmentin) to see if that clears up my ear issue and helps the sinuses.....have a follow-up appointment in 2 1/2 weeks.....

I would get horrible migranes after Remicade. The only thing that would relieve the pain was anything stronger then vicodin.

Hope everyone gets some relief soon.
