For those of us who have leaky gut you will know this will usally needs to be healed in parallel to any ibd.
One of things that prevent the leaky gut from healing is the continued use of undigested food particles e.g. proteins. Now my doctor has told me to take a hydrolysed protein(amino acids) instead of protein, any vegetables that I can eat and also fat.
However although I will no longer intake large protein particles I will still be eating undigested fat and vegetable correct? Would these not prevent the leaky gut from healing and how would one ensure this didn't happen?
Thanks
