Hello I'm new

I was first diognost in 2009 when I perffed.. I had no idea I had crohns,I just thought it was normal to feel this way cause it's all I ever known. Anyway when all this happened in 09 I wound up needing a major surgery. They removed my illim-(bad speller)... and appendix and also colon resection. So I'm in the hospital right now waiting for an MRI. This will determine if I'm going for surgery #2. Good chance I will need to go on a biologic. I'm very uncomfortable taking a biologic but looks like it's for the best. I went 6rs with very little problems till a month ago than bam!! This disease needs to go to hell!! I really hope there's a cure one day for all who suffer.

Welcome. I also hope that there is a cure for these diseases some day. I hope you don't need surgery. There are lots of people here on biologics. There is lots of support here. Let us know how you are doing.

Welcome, sorry you are having a rough time. There are specific threads on here that talk about different treatments. It might be worth reading through the one on the meds your dr wants to put you on. Also feel free to ask questions, you will get honest answers based on everyone's experience. Also, feel free to vent. I have found this is the best place to do so. Even though I have a great family, they don't understand what it's like and it's nice to have someone else completely get what your talking about.

I have noticed that my stomach is about a half a size bigger than the usual size with a flair. My stomach hurts to the touch. But not just my stomach but my lower back and hips too!those two ate hinh

I also noticed that my skin hurts to the touch as well. Is something like that normal????

Not yet because she is out of the office. And I don't want to go the hospital because they are just a patch and release.
