Hello everyone I found this forum researching sites about chrohns ( something i had never heard of until my sister was diagnosed with it) at 17 my sister started having really bad stomache aches, test after test showed nothing, she went to 4 diffrent doctors before she was finally diagnosed with chrohns..... after being admitted to the hospital 5 times in one year she finally had surgery about 5 months ago and now its like the chrohns just disappeared... she went from 80 lbs to 136 pounds, I cant help but to think that this is all a trick... how can someone be from what look like on the verge of death to absolutely nothing being wrong? I am so scared to feel relived because I have in the back of my mind it will come back in full force....5 months ago she was on 8 diffrent pills and taking humira every 2 weeks and now shes on nothing.... I think you guys are great on here I have never seen such a helpful site..Thanks for letting me vent

Good luck Carly, I hope everything turns around for you and your sister. I have been admitted to the hospital 5 times since march. I lost 43pds, pretty much eat once per day because it all hurts my stomach. Docs can't find any physical evidence of this being a crohn's flareup in any of the tests they have done. Try to help your sister keep her spirits up, it can be very depressing.

You sound like a cool brother. This is a great forum - and a great place to vent.

Crohn's, as youve learned, is a tricky disease. Everyone here has good days and bad ones. Hope you find what you're looking for here. . .
