Help ASAP-Stelara

My dermatologist has given approval for me to start Stelara. I called the gastroentologist and his office is anxious for me to start. The only problem is that there is red tape finding out if they can get it through a regular pharmacy or a special pharmacy. Also ,I don't think I can give the injections to myself so they are trying to come up with something else. When I was on Cimzia, they had a nurse come out to give them to me. Any ideas ?

I would think you could probably still get a nurse to come give you injections. Are you able to talk to your doctor or your provider about it?

Does my doctor need a regular pharmacy or a specialist pharmacy? My GI's office said there was some redtape about finding out about this. My wife is really anxious about me getting on one of the big guns for Crohn's Disease again.

Can you contact your GI to ask about it? I don't live in the states so I'm not sure how it would work with your pharmacies.
