Where do I begin...I have had issues with my bowels for about 18+ years. Many tests, biopsies, scopes have been done to still leave me with no diagnosis except that I have twice the normal length of intestines and that's genetic which is why my bowels are so slow (talking weeks) which has at one point caused the small intestine to wrap around itself about 7 yrs ago. I've been ok (not perfect) for a few years but all of a sudden my bowels are covered in yellow what looks like fat globs/mucous. This is new and I got see my GI next Friday. Any idea what this could be?

Thanks so much!

Oh wow! I haven't heard of having double the intestine length before. Mucous is something that occurs for some of us when we're in flare, and is something you should mention to your GI if you're seeing him, yes.
