Help finding doctor in Minnesota

My 15 year old son was just diagnosed with probably mild crohn's disease and lactose intolerance. In our meeting with the doctor on Friday she gave three different diagnosis from yes it is to probably is, then let's do more testing. He has had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. He is scheduled for mmr on Wednesday and they did additonal blood work Friday to confirm how bad crohn's will get.

I guess I'm asking for the name of a good peds doctor in mn to get second opinion. This all started with swelling in left cheek and bumps with white heads that looked like thrush back in november. The bumps are gone but the swelling is getting worse and our current GI doesn't think this swelling is related to the probable mild crohns and is sending us to ent

I'm sorry to hear about your boy...:hug:

Many people have issues with Extra Intestinal Manifestations (EIM's) affecting their and amongst them I have read of others that have swelling of the lips or cheeks. Perhaps it isn't related but I wouldn't rule it out at this point.

I can't help with a GI recommendation but I would also ask the question in the Minnesota Local Support Group and perhaps in the General Discussion Forum.
