For atleast 3 years now I have had digestive issues. I have been admitted to the hospital 3 times in 3 years and have had 2 emergency room visits in the same time. I do have a gastroenterologist and have had 1 colonoscopy. The results given were crooked colon and diverticulitis (slight mention of Crohn's). I take Linzess daily. I take MiraLax daily. I take Nexium daily too. I also use ice packs or a heating pad to get some comfort to my belly area usually every day.

I have issues with wanting to eat food. Prolly 1x a week I can eat like I am enjoying food. Not wanting to eat food is combined with inablity to want to consume water. I force myself to consume water and usually have to watch after myself to eat food. I do not want to eat because I feel insanely full. Plus the pressure/pain is my determent.

My stomach ACHES 24/7. The area from my bra line down to lower pelvic area. It is extreme uncomfortable non moving pain. It causes isssues with my movement. I am unable to bend freely. My stomach "gurgles" all day and all night. If I were to explain it...it feels as if I had swallowed too much saliva. The knots in my stomach feel mentrual. My left shoulder blade always aches too...its level of pain is concurrent with my belly pain.

My mornings start with glasses of water, Linzess, and MiraLax, Ice Pack/heating pad. All day my head is focused on my pain.

Reading thru these forums, I think it could be in a good place for support/learning. I cant believe this is how I am to live. PLEASE provide me with any "hacks" on how I can deal with these issues. If you know of meds that provide relief, please share. If you found that certain foods avoid or use helps you please share.

What led me to this site....I was seeking a 21 day diet that helps you realize what foods are causing you issues...

Does your doctor know about all your current symptoms? I am no expert but I wonder if you could have an obstruction. To answer your question about diet, we have a section called Diet, Nutrition and Fitness, I believe

@ ronroush7

Yes, my doctor is aware of these symptoms. His advice to me is to go to the emergency room. He does not say either I should have daily pain or I should have no pain.

These symptoms sound awful and you seem to be frustrated that they control what you are able to do.
I would advise you to experiment with cannabis, if you can get a prescription from a doctor and learn how to use it I am sure it would give you back your appetite, reduce some of the inflammation, boost your mood, and reduce some of the pain without unwanted side-effects.

So did you end up going to the ER? Have you ever had and MRI of the intestines done? You asked about a diet that could help you determine what foods are triggers. I would recommend the "elimination diet"

Have you had a gastric emptying test ?
Gastroparesis can cause a lot of things including having a hard time eating
