Help node

Help,,,,,
I had a colonscopy yesterday. The MD told me while i was still half drugged that I had a node, which he did a biopsy off. Has anyone ever heard of this before? should i be worried about this? any input would be great...:eek2:

oops!! he called it a node, but the report calls it a rectal nodule...............anybody....??

Hi woops!,
If I had to guess, I would say it was a small bump (projection) in the lining of the intestinal wall, and they took a biopsy to determine what it is. I believe it is quite common, and so you shouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Definitely very common, doc said he took biopsies of 9 nodes he found in my colonoscopy... Don't fret.
