Help!!

Hi im a bit worried. I have been out of hospital for a month now from a really bad flare. I'm still on prednisone and other meds. When I went to the toilet just before there was a small amount of blood on the paper. Not in the bowl though? Should I be getting worried or is this normal for only being over a flare for a short time. Should I be calling my gastro? I'm really worried please help!!

How long has it been since you've had your blood tests? Blood isnt good, but, alot of us have it occasionaly. You after being in a big flare, yes, I guess that is causing it. I personally would let the GI know.

Are you tapering off the pred right now? As we taper quite often our sypmtoms coming roaring back.

It's been a few weeks n I'm getting more on Thursday. I am tapering off atm. I will definatly be giving my GI. A call then. Thanks so much!!

Good luck Brooke!!! Tapering is a problem...maybe they could slow it down a bit? Or start you on another med concurently to help. So sorry sweet pea, we've all been through that roller coaster ride, and it isnt fun.
