Ok so like Ive said before, I have no for sure answers....my GI is convinced that my issues are either all in my head or simply stress related, cuz everything as come back 'mostly clean' but I still continue to have 24/7 pain with points of that being rather sever as well as constnt nausea that sometimes leads to puking. My GP, has thought it was crohns since day one and has not been all to thrilled that the GI wont push the pillcam test (but He the GP could not get the pillcam test to go thur even after pushing it several times) anywways.....with all that.....Im I know rather it is IBS, Crohn's or Colitis there are certain things that are better to eat and others that should be AVOIDED......thats what im trying to sort thur here. I already eat gluten/dairy/soy free....... I dont eat very much red meat except for the occiasonal piece.....I tend to eat mostly chicken and fish as far as meat is consider. But I am considering going all vegetiarn (will be more vegean.....since Im all ready dairy free due to lactose intolerance) But I was wondering how avoiding meat has helped? Kinda worried about protien if I choice to do these as nuts dont always digest super well for me either........so I guess what Im asking is if anyone as good food suggestions.......trying to find things that are not going ot make me sick or make me hurt. Trying to maintain a fulltime job at the same time that all this is going on....kinda have to or I have to money/means for care.

thanks!

Loads of diet advice on here be kinda wary of fruit and veggies unless there we'll cooked difficult for crohnies to digest, fish chicken, rice are o.k alcohol can be bad.try to avoid oily, greasy food can be bad.good luck

Yeah dont drink never have and dont really plan to with these issues...I havent really done oily/grease for over 2yrs now cuz Im one of those that after I lost the gallbladder I still could not eat it....but I have been using coconut oil.....not to deep fry and have grease foods or anything just as butter replacement or when I need an oil to cook in.....so does that work ok for crohns? Or is it better to just steam veggies vs cooking them in a open skittle "stir-fry" style

I find stir fry is ok and use 1cal spray and a certain boxers health grill is really handy for all sorts of ingredients try homemade soup if like me you get desperate for a veggie fix, stock cubes are fine just make sure your veggies are well cooked and or blended.i also find homemade curries with turmeric and some other spices are fine but like everything else be cautios.cheers

you can try beans or nuts for the protein....I always seem to turn my bean soup into veggie stew with beans...I keep throwing things in there. I live on that for days...may be a good way to begin anew...
healthy in, healthy out...
