Helping out CCFC spreading IBD knowledge!

Hi everyone!

Tomorrow I am volunteering with the CCFC (Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of Canada) to help out with the annual health fair at my school (York University in Toronto, Canada).

I hope to spread my story, experience with the disease and knowledge with the many York Students, including the at least several hundred on campus who personally have IBD (not including the many who must have family and friends affected by IBD). I hope to encourage some people to visit the forum here, so hopefully we will all be able to meet some new friends from my university!

I am a member of the CCFC for the last 4 yrs now, it's been well worth it for the information I get from those journals, I'm just waiting for the one to come that's titled "Finally found the cure for IBD"!!!!

I also reiceve those phamplets and stories from CCFC. I think i get them in the mail about every 4 months and they also send me e-mails from time to time.

I just got a notice in the mail about an all day IBD Forum--March 31st in LA sponsored by CCFA. It's very comprehensive. I have family in town that weekend, but may try to go to part of it. If anyone lives in the LA area and wants more info, let me know and I'll pass it along.
