Im Ben, currently 17 but will be 18 in just over 2 months. Started getting stomach pains from the age of 12 and was just passed off as a bug, well 5 years lately i was finally sent to the hospital for the Camera, still waiting on the results but i have been told its looking like Crohns or ulcerative colitis.

Hi Ben and welcome! Sounds like you're getting close to finally getting a diagnosis which is great. Once you do, I hope the doctors get you on a treatment plan which has you feeling wonderful.

Hi Ben! Where did the doctors see inflammation - small intestine, large intestine, or both? Once you get your diagnosis, you will be able to start treatment and hopefully start to feel better. Have you discussed any treatment options with your doctor? Perhaps you should check out the Treatment forum before you discuss on your treatment plan. It helps to do a little homework, so you know what your doctor is talking about. Good luck and I hope you get some answers soon!
