Hey How's everyone doing? :eek:)

I posted a wee while back, about possible surgery, and I'm now booked in for monday morning! Quite excited really, thought of being crohns free for a while is good. The surgery is taking out my terminal ileium (sp) hopefully though the least invasive way possible, key hole, there's no way I can spell the proper name!!!

have many of you had such surgery? I am a bit nervous just back from my visit with a nurse to go over the surgey and pain relief and things, scared me even more!!!

Hiya,

Roo has had similar only hers was an emergency so open surgery. She went straight into remission and it has stayed that way for 4 years now. I hope yours goes the same way!
Sending you loads of luck...........................

:goodluck::goodluck::goodluck:

All the best, :)
Dusty

I had emergency surgery last month and had 80 cms removed including the terminal ilieum and while I am still in recovery (which may take several months) I cannot tell you how it feels to be pain free for the first time in so many years.

Best of luck on Monday. Sending you positive vibes for a speedy recovery.
