hi everyone!

i've seen a lot of these types of sites before and thought it was about time i joined one
i'm 18 and got diagnosed with crohns about a year and a half ago now. i don't have anyone close to me who has it and it feels like i'm just bugging my family/boyfriend if i try and talk about it so i thought this was a good place to go

never joined a forum before so i'm not entirely sure what i'm meant to do! hopefully this is some sort of start though

I certainly understand the feeling about bugging loved ones when talking about IBD with them. It can be hard at times. But we're here for you!

Are you on any medications? Are you hopefully in remission at present?

We can all relate to feeling like we are bugging people with our health issues, I still feel that way sometimes, I can even bug myself somedays haha
Any questions you have even if you feel they are silly just ask, there is a great support network here and someone always on line for a chat.

I'm sure you're not bugging your family and boyfriend - hopefully they understand what a scary and overwhelming diagnosis Crohn's can be!

I've been on pentesa since the diagnosis and it seems to be working okay i have my bad days when i get stressy, like at the moment i'm doing exams so my tummy isn't very happy!
I'm from near Liverpool way
My boyfriend and family are really good with it all but I understand it's hard for them to really know how I'm feeling if I'm having a bad day.
I didn't expect so many replies thank you!
