HI, everyone i'm new here, i've been diagnosed with Crohn's for just over a year now, i'm a 21 year old male, who is trying to lead a normal life, but to no avail, long journeys have become a hazard for me, as i need to be near the loo, and the past couple of days i've had sleepless nights, because of the constant rush to use the bathroom. I also have to get up extra early before i go to work to make sure i don't have any accidents on the way.

Hey cooldudez, welcome the the forum.
Tell us more. What meds are you on? Are you trying anything else to help?
I know I'm at my worst when I am awakened at night to run to the toilet, especially more than once.
Hope you find some relief soon.

A universally effective diet

Hey cooldudez and others,
I have found out about this fruit based diet that seems to be more universally effective than other diets. When you are really sick, you just eat non-acidic ripened fruit such as bananas, papayas, mangoes, apples, grapes and cherimoyas. Any tough skins must be peeled. When you are feeling better, you can add some steamed vegetables low in roughage such as carrots and squash. It is extremely effective.
I find that for me, vegan restrictions are most effective in the long run. Also avoid greasy food, refined carbs, you know, junk food. You should be :) in good time.
