I'm having an issue with my weight, due to spicy foods (even mildy mildy spicy) causing awful stomach pains.

I drink 600 calories worth of supplement drinks a day as well as eating meals and snacks. But eating too much in one go, is still too difficult as my stomach can't tolerate it yet.

However, I wonder if anyone know any high calorie, and bland foods I could try.
(except rice, i can't stand it. >.<)

Smooth peanut butter is great for adding calories aslong as you can tolerate it. When I flare I have a lot of mashed potato not very exciting but you can add butter to give you a few more calories.

Bland and boring food is my favourite, so that's no issue.
I haven't tried peanut butter in over a year, so i'll give that a go tomorrow when I go shopping.

You could try adding oils into your diet, coconut oil would be a good choice and it's extremely high in calories (around 140 per tablespoon). I second the peanut butter - you could also try almond butter or cashew butter if you have trouble with peanuts.

Whole milk might also be a good choice if you can tolerate it - I can't tolerate a lot of things but for some reason milk has never been a problem despite its bad reputation for causing bloating and discomfort.

I'm not sure what you tolerate but full fat milk, lard, ice cream, peanut butter, nutritional drink plus, potatoes, bacon, pastured butter.

I agree with the smooth peanut butter idea. I love the taste of peanut butter, it's easy to digest, it has loads of calories and it's a "healthy" kind of fat.

If you're alright with dairy, a bowl of low fibre breakfast cereal (Cornflakes or Rice Krispies) with full fat milk and lot of sugar added.

Toasted white bread with melted cheese on top.

Avocado is easy to digest and much higher calories than most other fruits and vegetables. I have avocado sandwiches.

Plain cakes like madeira cake, digestive biscuits, crackers and cheese, plain scones with butter and honey.
