Hi everyone so after my episode of being very very unwell i was admitted into hospital where i am still waiting for my endoscopy for my bleeding, they did a series of tests that showed my blood come back normal, but i was constantly vommittting and had a tempreture of over 38 on 3 occasions which they couldnt understand, could there be inflammation going on that would not show up in blood tests, i am still vomitting and still not really going to the toliet as the stools are so high up and enema didnt really work so am on milpar to help with it

I would think that with your temperature being that high there is something going on. Perhaps an infection of some sort. Sorry I can't be of more help. I am sorry to hear you are still unwell and in the hospital. We will be thinking of you.

Hey Amy

sorry you're still there
ask what your CRP is and ask if there is an infection
if there is, ask for metronidazole (anti biotic) and citrizine ( anti-sickness)
can't believe they're not trying any of this!!
ask for some morpheine too while you're at it! it'll knock you out for a bit!
feel better soon, thinking of you

You could have a gastro bug, or the tests they did could of been inconclusive and as I have always said, Crohns is very hard to detect, even if you have Crohns. Try not to speculate, and wait for the results of the endoscopy. I am assuming you have had a colonoscopy as well? Infections can be anywhere and Flagyl and Cipro always gets rid of it.

What are they giving you for treatment? :hang: this too shall pass, soon.

Hi everyone thank u for getting back to me im on cyclizine for sickness but the minute it wears off im still being sick and it doesnt help when i eat i feel like my stomach is blowing out, they thought i had a kidney infection but my blood and urine tests come back normal, they have said they dont no anything until after thursday but the temp and the vommitting they cant understand if it is inflammation as i had appendicitis 2 yrs ago and my blood work didnt pick up inflammation
