I totally understand!!! I'm going through the same thing right now! I just missed almost a week of school because of the unbearable pain I'm currently in. One of my professors is letting me take the exam next week. I haven't heard back from the other one however, she is probably the most understanding because she says she works with crohn's patients. She works in microbiology and I guess they are doing research. Its very interesting.
Anyhow, she says that there are more developments and newer treatments underway, so everybody: hang in there!
PS: Are you on disability at the school? I am, and it helps a lot. Does your school have a disability resource center?
