Hi there, im finding it increasingly impossible to move my bowels due to a stricture in my rectum, i believe to be an inch up or so. My consultant refuses to put me back on steroids because my bloods are fine, even though im bleeding when i try to go to the toilet.
Ive read in a few posts that balloon dialation can help with this problem and i believe it would help me alot.
Can someone who has had this please give me an insight on how i would go about it and what relief they got from it?
My GI nurse has mentioned it before but i dont believe they like to do it.
Any information would be a big help.
All i know is i cant go on the way i am. Id rather have chronic diarrhea than this severe constipation and feeling like im pregnant and straining like man with little coming out bar blood.
