Hello. I am a new user to this forum and happy I found it. This chat is from 2014, but I am only seeing this now, a year later. So some of you may no longer be on the site. Let's try anyway.

I hope you are doing well Herim. Are you know studying in the US?
Nomad 2000 from UK are you now in Korea? I also saw a response from 89Red.

I have a 23 year old son, who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis about 6 years ago. He has had 2 major flares, one in October 2013 (after returning from a 5 week university exchange program in S. Korea), and one in August 2014.

We have been with the same Gastroenterologist for the past 4 years, and she has been a lifesaver. My son has been on Remicade since October 2013 and after several changes with dosage and medication, is now 10 months "Free" of any major issues. My son's condition has improved 100%, healthier, happier, and at the gym more often! His outpatient treatment is schedule is every 8 weeks.

That being said, my son will be graduating from the university soon, and would like to teach in S. Korea. We are thrilled for him, but also worried (me more than my husband) at the same time about quality medical facilities, Remicade availability, pharmacy and transportation. We don't know which part of Korea he will be staying yet, but planning of what can be expected.

Any suggestions of quality Remicade and Gastroenterologist in S. Korea is welcome. We will also check with our local Gastro.

Thank you. Live well, and all the best.
