I just read this! There are many recommendations on here, which I have not tried to date. There are some I have tried, but this guy seems to have had real success from this plan.

I hope we can all use this and get from it as much benefit as he did!

Thank you for sharing this, Heidi. I am still sending warm wishes, hugs, and prayers your way. I sure hope they can find the problem and diagnose you. You deserve to feel well and happy my friend.

Anyone who has to emphasize things in bold type with such emotive language is, IMHO/YMMV/etc, a quack and I immediately look for the selling of overpriced snake oil or water that's been bounced on a bit of dead cow or frogs tongues or something a few times.

That said we can all try different ways of making life a little more pleasant, like cutting out sugar or wheat or going vegan/etc, but a little realism as to expectations might avoid some disappointment, me thinks.

Thank you so much Andigirl for your lovely message! I really appreciate that! :) I hope all is okay your end, I am sending you lots and lots of love and hugs chick xxx

I have to agree with you Beth, a lot of folks can make BIG money out of desperate people. Don't I know it at my own personal cost! The number of Quacks who've told me to pay them to do their "miracle" treatments or buy their products, has been countless over the years. Its been rather like flushing money down the toilet and it really stings when you gets no results for your money. :ymad:

You do have to be careful not to be drawn in by people who apparently perform miracles, or sell cures, that are "guaranteed to work!" as they say.

I think to date I have been extremely naive and god knows how much money I've wasted, I hate to think about it! It hurts too much, would have been nice to have had a holiday instead! Oh well, you live and learn.

Many people have had many good results by altering diet and using the right vitamins/supplements for them. I honestly believe that people have been able to induce remission in many different ways, not all of them phamaceutical.

But it REALLY, REALLY bugs me when someone says they "no longer have Crohn's disease." I think that is irresponsible, and I would have a whole lot more respect for them if they would say that they are in a "very long remission."

Just a pet peeve of mine, because, as far as I know, you can't "cure" Crohn's.

Chronic illness. No cure. BINGO! And I agree, it is irrisponsible to say such things.

I've been in remission for over 10 years now but that doesn't mean I'm cured. I'd never say such a thing. I'm relistic and know that it could affect me at anytime.

Thank you Amy, now if you could only tell my doctors that for me, because apparently they don't believe me when I told them that I was diagnosed with Crohn's a few years ago, they now say that there is no Crohns present. So I guess they either think that I am lying about the diagnosis or that they feel I was misdiagnosed and don't have it.

If your crohns comes back when off your plan, you havent beat crohn's, just found away to manage it. If you beat it, you can be just like everyone else.
