How long did it take Remicade to work for you?

I'm wondering if the people on Remicade can give me an idea of how long it took to work for them. My son had a bad flare up that landed him in the hospital for over a month. He just had his second infusion of remicade just over a week ago and is just starting to slowly improve. I have heard so many great things about remicade and how people felt better just days after the first dose so I'm wondering if that's normal? Or does it take a little longer for some people?

He is also on 40 mg of prednisone and 100mg of imuran.

For me it was infusion 4 which was four weeks after my induction doses. Some people feel great on number 1 others it takes months (me).

I felt an almost immediate difference after my first infusion. But felt almost back to 100% normal/pre-crohns after maybe 8 months or so on Remicade - basically when i really started paying attention to my body. i.e. clean diet, no alcohol, rest and sleep when needed, yoga and meditation. I have to admit that i've been slacking and am definitely feeling the crohn's kicking in again.

Mine was the fourth or fifth dose, but they also adjusted the dose and window on infusion. I still can tell when its time for a refill, yet its the best thing that is working for me now.
