How long for Entocort palpitations to go away?

After tapering from 6mg to 3mg then eventually off, how long did it take your heart to beat normally? lol. I've been on Entocort 6mg since June 13th and developed Chest Pain early July, which switched one day to palpitations in mid July. I'm tapering now this week to 3mg (sacrificing my colon's little inflammation til I see the new GI), because I am absolutely terrified of these continued chest/heart discomforts palp-feelings. If you experienced that, how long did it take for you to go back to normal?

Does your doctor know? I remember my heart racing, or getting excited for no reason but if you are terrified you need to be checked out now!

Yup! I was in the ER July 9th with normal EKG. My Dr told me to stop LDN, but it continued. I tapered Ent for a week to 3mg from the 6mg I was taking, which I think has helped, but the abdominal pain is back So tonight I restarted LDN 4.5 and praying while in this limbo until I see my new GI Aug 27th, followed by the Cardiologist the same day! Your heart symptoms were from Entocort?

Yea, I use to get heart racing from all sorts of steroids, it would just make my adrenal glands go nuts! I use to tell everyone that I had enough energy to build a house when I was on them. Glad you got checked out!
Generally my heart stuff got worse as I tapered off because your adrenals have to adjust, but it would stop once I was off of them for a few days.
