Shoeless, I have Cigna Medical Insurance but I also have Medco for my perscriptions...Both of which I get through my work...When I started Remicade they sent the claim to cigna and not Medco...Anyway, I pay a $30.00 copay...Cigna pays the rest...Also, remicade did have to be pre-authorized...

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and they paid a majority of it, but I didn't have a copay

I've had 3 different insurance companies pay for remicade. Most I've paid is 1200, for the first, then I'm covered for the rest of the year. The last 2 insurances I've been fully covered.

It really varies by company.
