I have been on aza for around 15 months now and doing really well. My colonoscopy was normal for me and was given the go ahead to try for a family. We have been trying now for 4 months.

Recently I hadn't stomach bug which gave me excess acid as a result. So I started taking omoperazole which seem to help. Last few days the narrowing in my small intestine has been irritated and the gurgling is back.

I want to slow and and even stop this flare and was thinking of taking my buscopan and brat diet or even ensure drinks.

Has anyone managed to slow down their flare by taking it easy and watching diet?

I'm hoping to reduce the chance of it getting worse and hopefully will go away.

Do you think your drug might be beginning to falter? Maybe you need something extra to fight it. A low fiber diet will help in the sense that's it's easier to digest.

I was hoping the flare is part of the bug I had and it will sort itself out without further medication. We don't want to stop trying for a baby as we waited so long to get to this point, so hoping may be diet would help calm it down. I was thinking if I have ensure drinks then it won't irritate my intestines as much and it might settle.

There are a few therapies that shouldn't interfere with pregnancy and conception. Have you visited our pregnancy and trying to conceive forum?
