ONEONTA,
Been on humira now for 3mo, and pior to that when its hot i sweat like crazy, but have no trouble working outside, being the sun etc.. But this year (on humira) now that it is getting hot, i notice i can't tolerate it, it wipes me out and it seems like within a few minutes i get nauseous..

I is starting to really pose a problem, i want to be out playing with my son at his kiddy pool, fishing, etc.. And i can't or at least not for very long.. I am now always looking for any shade i can find, or going back in the house with the ac..

Anyone else have issues with being in the sun/heat

I've had issues with sun and humira back in the days but it was not that type of intolerance. It was really a dermatological/rheumatological reaction. Did you get blood tests recently? I am guessing that it is a possibility that your body is reacting (not in a bad way but still just adjusting) to the treatment. That could be a possibility. Try keeping well hydrated in the mean time.

Well it's not getting real hot here in Michigan yet but I am definitely having heat/sun issues. I burned really easily a few weeks ago and am for sure warmer than usual. I am known as always being cold - not anymore. However I should state that I am tapering from prednisone so the being hot all the time could be due to that (I seem to be having every other side effect possible!). We did have a few hot days and I am usually the one who can be in the heat and not be bothered by it at all, but on those days I was in the a/c for sure! BTW, I started humira in February so on it about the same amount of time as you. Sorry no answers to share.....

Thanks.. I guess its something to speak to the dr. About.. I have not had any blood work sense starting humira, the dr wasn't concerned said something about doing it this month, but i have not heard from them or had an appointment scheduled..
