New to Humira. I just administered the injection on my own yesterday but noticed the package saying i was late a day. I was told every 15 days - which it says on the package as well. However, the package showed to inject every 2 weeks on the same day. Whereas every 15 days is in a sense 2 weeks plus a day - so never the same day.
What is the correct timeframe for doing so? Was I correct or was I wrong a day? Does that mean that if I was wrong I am now stuck with the day I just did or can i go back a day to adjust avoiding a friday?

I inject every other Tuesday if that helps. You can call the pharmacist and ask them if its ok to do it a day early, just explain what happened.

For me I was told to take the first 4 doses in two days (2 injections on day 1 and then 2 injections on day 2. Some people are told to do all 4 on day 1) and then on day 15 take 2 (that's the last of the loading doses) and following that would be 1 every other week (same day). Are you done with the loading doses?

Two weeks instead of 15 days, makes scheduling the injections easier to remember. My GI doc says that if I'm late a day it's not a big deal. You are building up the medication in your system so I really doubt that it's critical to be so exact. Always best to ask your GI doc though.

Thank you guys.
Just strange how the box says both every 15 days and then shows a calendar with 14 days with the same day. Math fail?
