Humira No Longer Works

I have Crohns disease, 20 plus years. I have been on Imuran, Prednisone, Asacol, Entocort, Remicade, Cimzia and most recently Humira. Remicade worked the best for me, but I ended up with Pneumonia and then C-Diff, when I was able to go back on Remicade, the Remicade stopped working (Remicade-Resistant). Next I was on Cimzia and it did nothing at all. I am now on Humira, started it in February, it worked well for a few months, but now I have been in a flare for the past 6 weeks. I go to the doctor tomorrow, but I am wondering if there are other FDA approved Biologics that anybody else has tried and if they worked?

Yep. That's where I am at too. I'm about to have surgery and if it comes back, that's where I am headed. Humira stopped for me too.

How long did each of you take humira for?

Simponi is another one. My kid just stopped Humira after 9 months of no change.

For me, Humira worked well for 3 years, then it's stopped helping. I am now on Cimzia and doing ok.
