Humira shot didnt hurt?!

Hey, ive been on humira for a while now, it stings like a b#$%@ and my last injection didnt hurt much, I was wondering if you get used to it or if its a dud? Kinda worried, any help would be appreciated as Im a month away from my next specialist visit

Well, not to alarm you, but my Humira shots hurt horribly the first three months and my leg would swell from hip bone to knee for 4 days. Then the reaction started becoming less and less, to the point you couldn't even tell where I did it on my leg....And then it completely stopped working. All my symptoms came back. I've failed on both Humira and Remicade.

I just last week had my first maintenance dose and it didn't seem to sting as bad.

They always gave me a burning sensation. I had one dud pen out of maybe 25 or so It would not fire at all - until I examined it - then it did and shot Humira all over me. Humira sent me a replacement. They were very interested in knowing about malfunctioning pens. Do you see a little spot of blood where needle entered?

My first shot didn't hurt at all - but I noticed numbness in my tongue. I made sure not to say words with "fl" or "sh" in them for a few hours.

Now, no numbness, but it does hurt somewhat.
