I had my second stage of loading dose with Humira last week and I am so excited. Really starting to feel the difference. Less episodes running to the bathroom, although not normal as the dr would like it, but less painfull. I do still get very tired, but can get through a day without lying down. Unfortunately in our area lots of peolple with flu - a friend died two weeks ago of flu and they would not allow me to go near her in ICU, because of me taking Azapress and Humira. Well I appreciate their concern. I do battle with a cold and sore throat that doesn't want to clear 100% but the dr's are really wonderfull. Well, they warned me agains immunity that might become a problem, but i'm still positive about the treatment. Anybody else also experience this problem with things like a common cold?

I've had very few problems with Humira, still shrug off colds like it wasn't there. I have delayed my injection a few times just by a day when I've had a raised temperature, but generally as healthy as can be.

So happy to hear Humira seems to be working for you, Ronel. I hope that cold will go away for your soon, though. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. Its wonderfull to know peolple understand and that we can support each other. I am so gratefull that I have access to Humira treatment and I find that I am starting to plan exciting things which in the past years I just would not do - I always stayed within immediate range of a comfortable bathroom!!!! Now I am sure things will go back to normal and if there might be a hickup I will be able to handle that.. Have a fantastic day.

After being on Humira for 15 months, I've only had 1 cold, and fought it off as normal. No difference here (thankfully) with immunity decrease. The big thing is to get blood work on a regular basis so your blood can be monitored for any change in white/red count.

Good Luck
