i dont know what to do!

Hi

i am 18 and i have been having very painful abdominal cramps since november 2011, it started off with me having bloody stool and cramping, i was referred to a GI, who said it could be Crohns, i have had numerous blood tests, wee samples, CT scans and a Flexi-signocosopy which have all come back fine and normal, i am still getting bloody stools and i am in so much pain, i cant even finish food without having to run to the toilet or being doubled over in pain. if i dont eat, i fill like i need to be sick then i start gagging but only bile comes up as there is nothing there for me to be sick.
i am so stressed out and i cant stop crying, i fill like everyone thinks i am lying about my symptoms, i am 5ft2 and at the beginning of all this i weighed 7 and a half stone i now weigh 5 and a half.

can someone please try and help with what i could have does this sound like crohns?

Hello, I'm new here too. The pain sounds like crohns, especially given that your in pain when you eat, and pain if you don't. You need to see a gastroentorologist for a colonoscopy. My blood results came back normal for the first 2 years of symptoms and every doc I went to, said I have gastro or a bug too. Now, years down the track (this was in my mid 20s, I'm 29 now), my inflammation markers shoot through the roof, so I don't need constant scopes, but once you get one, both ends your GI will suggest, you'll know for sure. There are heaps of ibd variations, and I hope you find the prob asap. Keep us posted, best wishes

Hi Jemma,
You need a colonoscopy and some small bowel investigations. When are you seeing the gi again. If its a while you need to see your gp and tell him/her that you are still passing blood and have lost 2 stone in weight. They will hopefully get a soon appt with GI, insist they do if they don't offer.

Thanks for your reply, i am seeing my GI tomorrow, for some answers as my Flexi-sigmoidoscopy came back all clear, i just dont know what to do i just feel like everyone think i am lying.
i am in constant pain, hopefully i will get some answers tomorrow.
