LOL

So for about a month I had cut out all sugar, carbs, and fiber from my diet...that left me with meat, cheese, and eggs. No more Crohn's symptoms. So then then we went out last Sunday to a steak house and I even though I ordered steak the sauteed veggies were irresistible. I ate and ate and then I got a second side ordered. But oh how I paid for it that night and the next day.

I am a terrible Crohn's patient. I've been eating stuff with hot chili sauce in it. No wonder my tummy isn't happy with me!

even before crohns i refused to eat spinach! ewwww, that and brussel sprouts....

ewwwwwwwww

i'm ok with spinach.. but hardly ever have it, not one of my faves lol

last night we went out for a pub meal... i had a lamb burger. got halfway through & had to leave the rest as i felt like i'd had a 4 course meal. shame because it was yummy lol

Spinach, I can do in small amounts, and also, only if it is cooked... Spinach, however was NOT on the pepperoni pizza I ate today... :)

This prednisone is sending my appetite through the roof! I've been eating pretty healthy, but broke down today after getting my tax refund and decided to treat myself to something I had been craving since before my flare... Soooo greasy and sooo worth it. Back to being a good Crohnie tomorrow, I promise... just needed to cheat a little bit.

Ooooh - spring also has me dreaming of maple season back east... So I also purchased myself a bottle of pure maple syrup... I could eat maple syrup on anything, yummmmmmmm!

I love spinach :) popeye was my favorite growing up lol but since I've been diagnosed I've found I can only eat raw baby spinach, any or the frozen or canned stuffs sends me straight to the BR :-/ I also found hearts of romaine doesn't affect me and its good cause I LOVE SALAD :) but iceberg lettuce can't seem to be digested and doesn't really agree with me

I swear that my current flare started when I ate some salad one day in November. Started cramping bad after that, and it never went away. lol. :(
