I JUST ate that!?

I've been wondering this for awhile. When I'm flaring rather badly I seem to spew blood out of my anus but also whatever I eat reappears 2 hours later...in the toliet hardly digested. Does this happen with both crohns disease and ulcerative colitis or is it more limited to one of them? Why does it happen?

It can definately happen with Crohn's (not sure about UC) but it happens because the intestines are so irritated they just want the food outta there! So they push the food through too quick to be digested.

Yup - I used to have that happen when flaring....in fact food would move so quickly through me that people thought I was anorexic/bulemic since I would have to run to the bathroom so soon after eating.

My diagnosis has/is/was Crohns Colitis.....
