don't feel silly for overreacting! I do the same thing. A little while back, my eyes started getting extremely dry, pus, sore, itchy... the works. I was so paranoid because there are a few eye disorders you can get from biologics. GPs kept telling me it was pinkeye, but it never went away. then they kept saying I might have some horrible eye disease...I started freaking out. I was convinced I was going to go blind or something. It wasn't until I saw an opthamologist that he confirmed I had: DRRRUUMMM ROLL PLEASE!
dry eye! ...albeit, extreme dry eye. But, hey, at least my eyes are fine.
Anywho, I'm not sure of your background or what you have tried. Have you asked your GI about methotrexate as a suppliment to your biologic? It's helping me. It's usually used in extremely low doses to help stop antibodies from building up in biologics but GIs and studies are showing methotrexate is effective in also treating crohn's itself. My GI put me on a high dose of metho when my Humira wasn't making me well fast enough. I'm still experiencing a few crohn's symptoms, but I *seem* to be going in the right direction.
