I need to harden my stools

I'm having my second flare up since diagnosis of crohns. The inflamed intestine and painfull bowel movements are under control but I just can't shake off the loose stools causing toilet trips to become painfull.has anyone got any good solutions for hardening stools.

Psyllium husk is great for bulking up the stools. Also, the doc can give prescribe you something. They have medications like questran that can help with it.

Bananas, potato chips/crisps and pasta work good for some people.

Or medication wise , u can get lomotil or codeine or immodium .
Codeine is the best and help with the pain aswel but it is an opiate so u must be careful with it plus its prescription only so u will have to ask your doc same with lomotil
