I think I may have Crohns

Hello , I am 47 and things are getting worst I am living on Imodium .
I have permenant diearrea (sp) maybe going 10 times or more a day .
Really bad wind /Gas that's day and night
My stomach swells up that I look pregnant
When I have to go to the Loo it is a case of run fast or I won't make it in time it's that bad .
A funny prickly feeling in my stomach .
Cramps on and of day and night .
Red painful spots on my legs that don't clear up.
I am not eating very much as sometimes I have run to the Loo , when I am eating , I have been like this for over a year now but it is has got worst over the last few months . I am also have been bleeding on an off .

Welcome, Sharon. If you haven't already, you need to get yourself to a doctor. You can't live on Immodium . Please let us know how you are.

Welcome Sharon,I agree with Ron.If you haven't seen a doctor then it's really time you did.I assume because you are using Imodium and didn't mention any other meds,that you're self medicating ? Please take the first step and make an appointment with your doctor.You won't get well on Imodium and it could quite well worsen your symptoms.

Hello , I have seen my GP And she thinks it is Crohns I have to have blood done on Friday .
I still can't eat any thing as I have to run to the Loo after a few bites .
And this week my Gums feel all swollen and sore at the back

Glad you've taken steps to get properly diagnosed.Please keep us updated.It might be a good idea to make a list of your symptoms,what you eat any weight loss and your rash and gums,and how long you've had them (not you gums,your symptoms,sorry)Also be honest about how many Imodium you take daily.A good doctor will not judge you although the length of time you've suffered with this,may be frowned upon.I hope things start to improve very soon.
