Well as it says above I think I might be going into remission yay. I had to redo my humira loading doses as the first lot didn't work and was still having flare ups of arthritis and crohn's. Yesterday I did the two injections so next will be back down to one.
I havn't felt this good in a long time I have only felt like this for a week so I know it can still change but I have less stomach pain, had a formed BM, arthritis has gone, think fissure has healed, less blood and mucus, skin tags seem to have improved slightly and lots of other things. Havnt felt like this since remicade I feel like I'm getting somewhere with this horrible disease again I just hope that this time it lasts longer than 6 months. Oh and people are noticing that I am happier and look healthier, feeling positive.

That's good. If you do find your symptoms coming back between injections ask your consultant about going to weekly. It makes a heck of a big difference.

That's really awesome! I am in the same boat as you - I started Remicade a few weeks ago and I've felt SO much better, it's like I've been brought back to life. So I take it from your post that Remicade only worked 6 months for you? I've been pondering/dreading how I would react if Remicade ever stopped working for me, but I'm just thankful that it's been working at all.

Thats Great! I hope it last for you. I hope to one day feel better too. I just started treatment and had my diagnosis a few months ago. Hoping to stay away from remi/humira after reading the side effect. I cried when i read the side effects.

Yippee! What terrific news!!! Let the good times roll!

Hmmm, maybe the joy of having a new puppy is helping, too!

I'm hoping it will continue thank you everyone for all your support. Went to see GI on Friday and they are putting my humira up to weekly so I can hopefully stay like this for a while longer, but he did say to keep an open mind about surgery. I think they are worried because of my history with other meds but I'm staying hopeful and trying to keep myself as healthy as possible ( of course with the odd treat now I can).

Jill- I think the puppy is helping a lot but also very tiring we have taken her to te forest today and she met some of the wild ponies, she's walking most of the time without a lead and has been to the beach and had a paddle in the sea. She makes me very happy and relaxes me so much best therapy for crohn's ever.
