Howdy,

Back in late 2012 and early 2013 I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease and have been using Humira ever since but I still kept getting sick. So they had me doing injections every 10 days. Felt a lot better for a month or so but started getting intermittent flare ups still. So doctor had me take methotrexate injections on top of the Humira in Mid May 2014 but the side effects were so bad. I would have to sleep 16 hours a day and felt drunk or high all the time. So doctor took me off even though it made my stomach perfect. Then had bad flares and ended up in hospital. So Doctor took me off Humira and put me on Remicade.(Which works best for me) But ever since being off Humira/Methotrexate which it has been since 6/25/14 I have really bad leg weakness, fatigued and tired alot and my hands and legs tremble and sometimes shake really bad and I cannot stop them from shaking. Has anybody else had similar issues when coming off either Humira or Methotrexate? If so, did you do anything to help these symptoms?

Thanks for any help,
Stephen

I have not had those symptoms from coming off Humira.

I have had some joint pain and my muscles feel like they are sore from a workout that never happened but this only occurred months after being off Humira so I don't think it is "withdrawals".

good luck.

My son stopped Humira after more than 2 years with no bad effects. I haven't heard of anyone else having these problems - doesn't mean it's not possible just would be very rare.

But these could be side effects of the Remicade - or a combo of both I suppose.

I would call your doctor right away.
